Hello Chris/Punishment Zine Sweden writing.
I was out surfing the net and came across your name, then it struck me
I reviewed your stuff but can't remember if you ever got it?
Anyway, here you have it it was featured in our eight printed issue and will
soon be placed on the website aswell, it's undergoing some serious
updating as we speak.
Lets start in the United States Of America. Black Triangle "S/T" has released a self-financed full-length and it's not bad. I'd say this is something of a power metal/ thrash hybrid which at times sounded like a combination of mid-period Testament, Seattles pride Sanctuary, a dash of Liege Lord and, surprisingly Fate No More. Good in most aspects although some of the ten tracks feels like fillers. Something for
Metal Blade to sink their teaths into?

BLACK TRIANGLE AND QUIET RIOT at The Boogie by Al B.-Rock City News
Burning. Ripping. Tearing. Shredding. All of these words can be used to describe a live show from Black Triangle, one of the best heavy bands on all of the west coast.
Right out of the gate, these guys came out blazing. This was by far the band's best show to date. Vocalist Michael Joseph was flawless and belted out notes that would make Bruce Dickinson envious. He was truly amazing on this night. Drummer Shawn Hill continued his display of double kick drum mastery by thumping his way through the band's entire set of a A Grade hard music material. Once again the rythym section of this ensemble was tighter than Jennifer Lopez' ass. Led by the incredible Neal Shelton, the band followed his chops perfectly. Lead Guitarist Randy Dees has a strong on stage charisma. His riffing is generally solid, although he seemed to be a bit drowned out in the mix. More importantly, the crowd was overwhelmingly in their favor. In fact, when all is said and done, it looked to me like BLACK TRIANGLE out drew Quiet Riot more than two to one.

BLACK TRIANGLE
Self-Financed
Michael Joseph (vocals), Neal Shelton (lead guitar), Randy Dees (lead guitar), Dan Leveille (bass) and Shawn Hill (drums) have been making the surroundings of Los Angeles unsafe with their heavy music since 1995. The band try to make us believe that they are creating a new music scene which the baptized Metallinnium. To prove this they recorded this 10 track CD. I do not hear anything new on this album but what they do they do damn good. Black Triangle is a power metal outfit that brings tight, heavy melodic metal. Old Metallica was probably a big influence but I hear also some Flotsam & Jetsam and Judas Priest in their music. Michael Joseph is a good vocalist with a powerful rough voice. Also the guitar players are shredding very convincing all over the disc and pull out some cool twin guitar leads. Black Triangle is a band with lots of potential. I wouldn’t be surprised if a label will pick them up sooner or later. (7) E-mail

This is one of the best songs
I've heard on here yet! The guitar intro is incredible, it has an intensly kreepy sound, the guitar players should be commended, on the dramatics they place on the riff, same with the bass. The vocals are krisp, and very easy to understand, but also suit the song very well. The drummer one of the last people ever commended, you do a great job in this one.

Retro Metal
Is somebody from Metallica doing a solo project. This sounds just like early Metallica with hints of Anthrax, Testament and maybe a little Slayer, specifically all of those bands 80`s stuff. This is cool retro metal. The dualing vocals is a nice touch. Other than that, the guitars (cool solo) are nice and I`m pleased to hear the vocals singing and not grunting.

last song I will ever review
I had to 'prefer this song' because it was the first of the two, and it burst my eardrums. Luckily, the last song I will ever hear was a rocking good time. You guys squeezed in all the guitars, bone-crushing beats, and naughty lyrics a song needs.
